1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Sister Circles LLC website (sistercirclesco.com) and your booking of any retreat offered through it. By browsing this website, submitting a retreat inquiry, or making a payment toward a retreat, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or book a retreat with us.
These Terms apply specifically to retreats booked through our website. They do not cover our coaching services, digital products, or other offerings, which may be governed by separate terms.
2. Who We Are
Sister Circles LLC ("we," "us," "our," "Sister Circles") is a Florida limited liability company operating retreats and related wellness services. You can reach us at support@sistercirclesco.com.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to book a retreat or use this website. By booking a retreat, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
4. Retreat Bookings & Payment
Retreat spots may be reserved through a deposit, a payment plan, or payment in full, as described on the applicable retreat page or invoice at the time of booking. A spot is not guaranteed until the required deposit or payment has been received and confirmed by us.
You are responsible for reviewing all retreat details — including dates, location, itinerary, and pricing — before booking.
5. Cancellation & Refund Policy
All payments are non-refundable.
All payments made toward a retreat — including deposits, payment plan installments, and payments in full — are non-refundable, regardless of the reason for cancellation. This applies whether you cancel due to a change of plans, illness, travel issues, work conflicts, or any other personal circumstance.
Because retreat spots are limited and we make firm commitments to venues, facilitators, and partners on your behalf as soon as you book, we are not able to offer refunds, exceptions, or partial credits for participant-initiated cancellations. We strongly encourage you to review your schedule carefully before booking and to consider purchasing travel insurance to protect your investment, particularly for international retreats.
6. Retreat Changes Due to Circumstances Beyond Our Control
If a retreat must be canceled, postponed, relocated, or significantly altered due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government travel restrictions, political instability, public health emergencies, venue unavailability, or other force majeure events — you will not receive a cash refund.
Instead, we will work with you to apply a credit toward a future Sister Circles retreat of your choice. The amount and terms of this credit will be discussed and confirmed with you directly on a case-by-case basis, taking into account costs already committed on your behalf. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate any such changes to you as soon as we become aware of them.
7. Retreat Participant Agreement Required
Before attending any retreat, you will be required to review and sign our Retreat Participant Agreement, provided to you after payment. That agreement is a separate, binding contract between you and Sister Circles LLC and includes important health disclosures, liability waivers, assumption-of-risk acknowledgments, and other retreat-specific terms.
These Terms and the Retreat Participant Agreement work together. If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Retreat Participant Agreement regarding a matter specifically addressed in that agreement — such as liability, health risks, or assumption of risk — the Retreat Participant Agreement will control.
8. Health & Safety
Our retreats may include physical movement, somatic practices, ceremony, and other activities that are not appropriate for everyone. You are responsible for consulting with a qualified medical professional before attending a retreat if you have any health concerns, and for accurately disclosing relevant health information through our intake process. Full health and liability terms are set out in the Retreat Participant Agreement referenced above.
9. Website Content & Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, photography, graphics, logos, and branding — is owned by Sister Circles LLC or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use our content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
10. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use this website in any way that is unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful, or that could damage, disable, or impair the website or interfere with other users' access to it, including through unauthorized scraping, data mining, or automated access.
11. Third-Party Services
Our website uses third-party services, including Squarespace for hosting and Stripe for payment processing. Your use of these services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of third-party services.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and we make no warranties regarding the outcomes or results of attending a retreat.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sister Circles LLC and its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of this website or the booking process. Our total liability arising out of these Terms or the booking process will not exceed the total amount you paid to us for the retreat at issue.
This limitation applies to claims relating to your use of this website and the booking process. Claims relating to your participation in a retreat itself — including personal injury, health outcomes, or property loss during the retreat — are addressed separately in the Retreat Participant Agreement referenced in Section 7, which you will review and sign before attending. Nothing in these Terms or the Retreat Participant Agreement is intended to limit liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, such as liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Sister Circles LLC harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the website.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
16. Dispute Resolution & Arbitration Agreement
Please read this section carefully — it affects your legal rights.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your retreat booking, or your use of this website shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. The arbitration will take place in Miami-Dade County, Florida, or remotely, as agreed by the parties or determined by the arbitrator.
YOU AND SISTER CIRCLES LLC EACH AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE WILL BE RESOLVED ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS ONLY, AND NOT AS PART OF A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. YOU AND SISTER CIRCLES LLC EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
This arbitration agreement is governed by the Federal Arbitration Act. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to support@sistercirclesco.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. If you opt out, disputes will instead be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and both parties consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the website or booking of a retreat after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Retreat Participant Agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sister Circles LLC regarding your use of this website and booking of a retreat, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
